Maeve
Orphaned at a very young age, Maeve and her childhood best friend, Eris, managed to live off of their unique skills, bartering stolen goods at the Black Market hosted in Ilya, the capital of Xanthes. Through her compassion, she managed to create a family of misfits whom she called home.
Oryn
Mysterious and handsome, Oryn becomes an unlikely mentor of sorts to Maeve. He teaches her how to control her unfathomably wild magic so that she may not pose a risk to herself and to others. While not very forthcoming with his past, he does seem to care for Maeve and her survival.
DOC
Widely known throughout Xanthes as Doc, he is said to be a mad scientist whose potions and elixirs are viciously sought after for their otherworldly healing properties. Doc is said to be eccentric and a little bit on the side of…well, mad.
Eris
Best friend to Maeve and an excellent thief, Eris manages to become a profitable supplier for the Black Market so that he can keep his formed family fed and sheltered. His loyalty and devotion to those he cares for is unmatched as he puts himself at risk everyday.
